Enjoy a beautiful summer evening in Civic Center Park featuring live music by Colorado native San Andrea and performances by the Visionbox Studio. The event will begin with live music by a young Colorado native San Andrea, a graduate of East High School here in Denver and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. San Andrea is only 23 years old, writes extraordinary lyrics, and expresses the challenges, hopes, and healing of his generation in his indie-pop-folk sound. Visionbox Studio, now in its 12th Season, has performed contemporary adaptations of Shakespeare’s great plays since its founding. The one-night-only event will feature a contemporary look at Richard the III, Hamlet, and Othello featuring new intermedia projection design. Audiences are encouraged to bring their own picnic and beverages and enjoy a beautiful summer evening in Civic Center Park.
